Outlander (2008)

Read all the crappy reviews about this movie. So I was not too keen to watch it. But then again... as the story unfolds, I rather liked it.... and liked it a lot!

I am not good at remembering the names of movie actors, but now I would wanna remember these three: James Caviezel, Sophia Myles and Jack Huston.

I think it is probably one of the best Sci-Fi movie released in 2008. It's entertaining and kept me interested throughout the movie... which is more than I can say for some... LOL. Heck.. I am even hoping that there will be a sequel!

Outlander trailer.

By the way, John Hurt was of course magnificent.

On The Fringe Of Taking Off with Mr Jones (Jared Harris)

Is this latest episode (Season1, Episode 14) of Fringe setting the grounds for exciting things to come? I hope so!

Ever since the first appearance of Mr Jones (Jared Harris) in Episode 7, I have been very intrigue with this character and was in great anticipation of his return. Mr Jones' "aristocratic" and "intellectual" mannerism reminded me of the two deadly doctors, Dr Moriarty of Sherlock Holmes fame and the infamous Dr Hannibal Lecter.

Jared Harris, a masterful performance of Mr Jones.

The Fringe storyline had been pretty choppy and continuity on the main story line had seemed confusing and lacked the "oomp" to take it to the next level.

Mr Jones had, as of now appeared in four episodes of the series. As far as I am concerned, each appearance by Mr Jones drove me to watch and follow the series.

Now, I am very very curious what happened to Mr Jones.

Scenes from Episode 14:

This episode's first victim of Mr Jones.

Mr Jones meeting Dr Bishop for the first time.

Special Agent Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv) and the "device".

Where did Mr Jones jump off to?

NBC's Own Worst Enemy

NBC is NBC's own worst enemy! Why the frag did they canceled the "My Own Worst Enemy" TV series after 9 episodes? Each episode was getting better and better.

Christian Slater's performance was top-notch! The story's continuity was tight and good. At least wait until a full season before deciding.

A bunch of asses! Hope they come to their senses and revive the series.
